Extensive knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education, child centered curriculum, differentiation, parental and community involvement in the educational realm, educational theory and practice, arts integration, child development, developmentally appropriate practice, and
building a constructivist classroom environment. This is combined with professional demeanor and open communicative skills essential to a positive and successful classroom.

Academic focus in art and design, predominately with the two dimensional arts. I have an understanding of forms of artist media, style, and composition. This gives me the understanding needed to create a arts inspired curriculum that can be woven into an overarching scope and sequence.
